Mrs. Wyoming Wins the Mrs. America Crown!

       

   

My exciting journey to become Mrs. America began on May 26, 2007 as I stood on the Mrs. Wyoming stage and was crowned Mrs. Wyoming! I  then traveled to Tucson, Arizona to compete for the national Mrs. America crown.   While America  was watching,  I was announced as  Mrs. America 2008!  A great honor had been bestowed on me as I represented all the married women of  America as well as a

pageant which promotes marriage, family and personal excellence. I was elated!  Somebody pinch me!”

inspire you to take the first step to an unbelievable life experience!

I have been a competitive softball player since the age of 7, and was taught at an early age to “Swing for the Fence”. After being crowned Mrs. America, I realized I had been given an amazing opportunity and utilized it the BEST I could!   As my riegn has come to an end,I hoped to have made a small difference in the world by spreading my message about the importance of having goals. I strongly believe the key to a happy life is in always having a goal you are working towards. Whether it is a small one like planning a family vacation or a larger goal, like becoming Mrs. America, goals give you something to look  forward to and an opportunity for change. 

My husband Jeff and I have three children; Quentin, Lane and Regan. We make our home in Worland, Wyoming where I am self employed. Family time is my favorite time! I also play competitive softball and love to shop on ebay, “Can you blame me! The nearest mall is 3 hours away!”

Wow, what an honor it was to represent my state while at the national Mrs. America Pageant. My great dream was to be the first titleholder to bring home the national crown to Wyoming. As Mrs. Tennessee and I stood holding hands and waiting anxiously for the winner's name to be called... I suddenly heard the emcee say, " Mrs. America 2008 is... Mrs. Wyoming!"  My goal was accomplished. Wyoming has won Mrs. America!
